Newport News police searching for four suspects in Thursday night homicide

Newport News, Va. – Police are searching for four men in connection with a fatal shooting in the 600 block of Aqua Vista Drive.

When officers arrived at the scene of the shooting Thursday evening they found 22-year-old James Earl Little unconscious and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the abdominal and leg areas

Little was taken to a local hospital where he later died.

Police learned Little had left a small family party in the 600 block of Aqua Vista Drive and was shot multiple times by one of four men who were standing together. All four men were last seen getting into a silver sedan in the parking area of King Lincoln Park.

All four men were described as being tall and slender. The suspect who shot the victim was wearing a white shirt, black jeans and black and white baseball cap. The second man was wearing a green shirt and blue jeans. The third man was wearing a red shirt and blue jeans. The fourth man was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.
